It seems ages since his appointment, but we’re delighted to be able to announce that award-winning journalist Paul Hill has joined Further as Engagement Director and a member of the management team.
Paul is well known in East Anglia having been Business Editor of the Eastern Daily Press and latterly, Business Editor for the entire four counties of the Archant Anglia patch.
Before running Archant’s business coverage, he worked in London for the Times Higher Education Supplement and wrote features on education for a national broadsheet. He is a graduate of York University, where he studied English literature and modern history. But in recent years he has played a leading role of the development of digital content at Archant and has a real passion for emerging channels and social media.
As Engagement Director and a member of the management team here at Further, Paul will head up our fast-growing content marketing team working together with director of strategy, Rob Welsby to ensure that Further’s clients benefit from the best strategic vision for their businesses and the most innovative multi-platform campaigns.
As Further MD John Thew puts it: "Paul is here to help us and our clients to stay ahead of the curve, to understand and truly engage with relevant audiences online and increase their visibility to improve their results. He is in a great position to be able to understand the commercial reality that many of our clients face and with his team create really effective, and cost-effective, marketing that hits the mark."
As for Paul, he is really looking forward to the challenge ahead. “Further’s pedigree is second to none. I’m delighted to have the chance to help lead the next stage of the firm’s growth.”
Welcome to Further, Paul, here’s to an exciting future!
