Now showing. Further’s first campaign for the British Film Institute

Further has recently been appointed as online marketing partner to the BFI ( British Film Institute) based in London – and our first paid digital campaign is already underway.

Founded in 1933, the BFI is a charity governed by Royal Charter, set up to support the British film industry and is the UK’s lead organisation for film. As the Lottery distributor for film, the BFI has the biggest public fund for film production, distribution and development in the UK, supporting and growing British film and film talent and building audiences all over the UK through a range of partnerships and initiatives. The BFI also has a DVD and theatrical label, publishing arm , educational, exhibition and festivals activities including BFI Southbank and the BFI London Film Festival and is responsible for promoting British film to rest of the world.

Further’s first campaign is aimed at creating awareness online for the BFI’s new video-on-demand service, ‘BFI Player’, which allows you to watch classic, contemporary, cherished and rare films and footage on your  computer, iPad, Android tablet or Android smartphone without subscription.

“It’s a terrific brand to be working with” says Further’s Head of PPC, Peter Oxlade. “A number of the team working on the account have a real interest and passion for film and cinema, so it goes without saying that we are looking forward to getting more and more involved in marketing this great charity institution which supports all aspects of the British film industry.”
