Further is proud to announce it will be sponsoring again at the EDP Business Awards 2012.
Last year, we made our debut as sponsors at the EDP Business Awards with the first award ever to promote online business in the eastern region. The 'eCommerce Effectiveness' Award was deemed such a success that Further has decided to take up sponsorship again - but this time round the category has been widened to include all businesses deploying online marketing effectively rather than simply the eCommerce sector. Hence the new title of 'Online Performance' award.
Other sponsors this year include Anglian Water (headline sponsor), Barclays, May Gurney, Grant Thornton, New Anglia LEP, AF (Anglia Farmers) and Greater Anglia trains.
There are ten categories for companies and organisations to enter, and entries are now open at www.edpbusinessawards.co.uk. The glittering awards evening with take place at the Holiday Inn Norwich North on Thursday 8th November.
As John Thew, Further MD explains "Our association with the EDP Business Awards goes back four years, when we were a first time entrant and were thrilled to take home the 'Best New Business' Award, so we know what a credible and prestigious event it is - and indeed how helpful it can be for business and networking."
"Last year, Mattressman deservedly walked away with the Further-sponsored 'eCommerce Effectiveness' award. This year, we felt it would be good to widen the category to enable local businesses large or small, mature or start-up, to showcase how they're deploying online activity to raise their game."
We encounter many innovative responses to these challenging times, in the course of our work, so we're looking forward to some fascinating entries." John continues. "No matter what type of business your are, we urge you to look at the criteria and put yourselves forward for the 'Online Performance' award. It may be the region's no.1 business event, but we're looking for outstanding performance rather than scale so please get involved. Entry is completely free. So what have you got to lose?"
